Atwood Primary Academy

We are having assemblies, lessons and whole school activities to promote a safer internet in the Atwood community.

Alderman Richard Hallam

We will hold assemblies and then follow-up activities in classrooms after. We will hold a parent drop-in session after school.

Throughout the week aa mac will be reaching out to children, families and schools across the UK by sharing Safer Internet Day resources on social media.

Ankermoor Primary Academy

Last year was a great success and this year we hope for something similar. We will host an E-safety week with workshops for children, a whole school quiz and launching a Community Duke of York Scheme.

Alderbrook Primary School

We will be celebrating Safer Internet Day by exploring our identities online.

Abernyte Primary

This Safer Internet Day, our Caring Crew Pupil Council Group are organising activities for the rest of the school, such as ‘Create your own avatar’ and ‘How we use the internet’ bunting.


A safe internet is the cornerstone of Avast’s business. On Safer Internet Day we will launch campaign activity and content, with key strategic partners such as Neighbourhood Watch.

Avonwood Primary School

As part of our celebration, each Key Stage will attend an assembly to introduce this year’s theme. Then each year group will complete an activity based around #Freetobe during the week.

ALN Cymru – Home Education & EOTAS

Free online event for parents and carers of children educated outside the traditional school environment in Wales.

Apps for Good is proud to be supporting Safer Internet Day and will be sharing posts on social media both in the run up and on the day.
