Snapchat has been designed to give Snapchatters the power to communicate with their friends and family through videos and photos in ways that are fun, creative and safe – with the aim that they always have a positive experience online.
The pandemic has highlighted the value of these connections. But we also know that with people spending more time online than ever before, the focus on safety and respect has never been more important. That’s why we’re proud to be a long-standing supporter of Safer Internet Day and UK Safer Internet Centre and are excited to play our part in supporting this year’s theme around exploring respect and relationships online.
To mark Safer Internet Day 2022, Snapchat will be launching a new AR lens, which features a game about online safety. The game will reveal a variety of safety tips like “report bullying”, “be kind” and “limit what you share” in an interactive way which is how Snapchatters best engage with content on Snapchat.
