“Safer Internet Day is an excellent way to bring everybody together to help create a better and safer online world for children and young people. We’re proud to support the campaign again this year which continues to raise important discussions for children’s safety online.

“It’s important that children and parents are fully aware of the dangers now posed by online scams.  At the NSPCC, our online safety hub includes a dedicated section full of advice for parents on how to talk to their children about hoaxes, scams and online challenges.

“Young people should also know that Childline counsellors are just a call or a click away if they need advice, help or support for any online concern, and our Report Remove tool can help them to get nude images removed from the internet.”
