Safer Internet Day is an important initiative that works to keep children and young people safe online, and we are very proud to be long standing supporters.
This year we were delighted to support the Welsh Government’s annual film competition once again. It’s been very encouraging to see children across Wales really show that they understand why it’s important to stay safe online. Every finalist will have their film classified by the BBFC – meaning that they will all receive an official BBFC age rating and famous Black Card.
“Our Education Team work with teachers and schools to produce a range of resources specifically designed for young people, to help them choose content that’s right for them. We’ve worked in partnership with the PSHE association over the last year to produce Key Stage 1 and 4 resources, which can be downloaded from our website. We’re now proud to provide educational resources for the whole Key Stage range. Teachers can also find a poster all about age ratings, as well as lots of useful information on our CBBFC website.
