Maree Todd, Scottish Minister for Children and Young People
The internet is an integral part of our everyday life and provides a wealth of information for our children and young people to learn, create, communicate and collaborate.
Safer Internet Day celebrates these amazing opportunities while also reminding us of the steps we can take to stay safe.
The Scottish Government will continue to work with partners, including Police Scotland and Education Scotland, to support children and young people to be resilient and stay safe as they navigate an online world.
I encourage everyone in Scotland to get involved and play their part in making the internet a safer place.
