“We know that young people are inevitably going to be online, so it is vital that Scouts support young people to be safe when they do so – an essential skill for life. Digital citizenship is an intrinsic part of stepping up and taking our place in the world today. Supported by our fantastic partners Nominet, we are delighted to be involved in Safer Internet Day by releasing two new activities on this year’s theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. This will contribute to their Digital Citizen Badge and most importantly ensure that our young people are safe, responsible and having a positive experience online.”
