NAHT are pleased to once again be supporting Safer Internet Day. It provides an invaluable opportunity for children and young people to explore the possibilities the internet offers, whilst also creating the space for them to consider how to navigate the online world safely.
With an ever-increasing presence of the internet in their daily lives, it has never been more important for children and young people to be able to effectively identify fact from fiction online.
It is vital that schools and parents are equipped to guide and support them as they interact online, but internet and social media providers must also play their part in tackling scams and misinformation.
NAHT continues to campaign for greater safeguards for children and young people online and is pressing government to ensure that the legislation to protect them is effectively implemented.
