At LSE, we’ve joined forces with the 5Rights Foundation to create a new research centre – Digital Futures for Children. Building on our earlier work together with the Digital Futures Commission, we’re actively researching a global evidence base to support advocacy and policy that advances children’s rights in the digital environment. This is a fast-moving field and it’s important for Safer Internet Day and related events that policymakers and practitioners have the latest evidence at their fingertips. We’re planning an open-access research repository as well as a series of bespoke projects targeting key issues affecting children’s rights, all in consultation with children and young people.
