“It speaks volumes that just three months after becoming law, almost half of all adults are already aware of the Online Safety Act’s vital protections for children. This world-leading legislation is already improving the online world for the next generation.
“However, we have to remain vigilant to unsolved, new and emerging threats to child safety online. I will be working with UKSIC and Ofcom to ensure that the Act’s provisions robustly protect children and empower adults well into the future.”
