04 Feb 2025 Becca Cawthorne

With just one week to go until Safer Internet Day 2025, we are truly inspired by the amount of activities and celebrations that are planned for the 11th February 2025. From football clubs to banks, schools to businesses, people all across the country are helping to create a better internet this Safer Internet Day.

Each year in the UK, Safer internet day focusses on a theme or issue affecting children and young people. For 2025, the free resources, top tipsquizzes, and information created for the day will focus on the theme: Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online.
In this blog we want to give you a quick rundown on how you can get involved too.

6 things to do in the next 7 days:

If you haven’t already, now is the time to join organisations from across the UK by signing up as a Safer Internet Day supporter. All you need to do is provide your name, a sentence about your plans for the day, and your organisation’s logo.
You will appear on our supporters map and receive an official supporters certificate, which will help us to showcase the amazing things happening across the country.

Why not prepare for the day by downloading the official, free Safer Internet Day Education Resources. These resources are tailor-made for educators to use with young people of all ages and all focus on this year’s Safer Internet Day theme: Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online

  • 3-7 year olds
  • 7-11 year olds
