Call for a New Taskforce at the IWF
The IWF is looking for six Image Classification Assessors and a Quality Assurance Officer to help them protect children in battle for online safety.
The work of the IWF is trusted by police, governments and technology companies. They’re now looking for a new taskforce of seven people set up within IWF’s world-renowned hotline to grade and hash two million images showing the sexual abuse of children. The hashes of the images will provide the backbone to initiatives deployed by police and internet companies around the world.
The IWF is the UK charity responsible for finding and removing images and videos of children suffering sexual abuse from the internet. They are also part of the UK Safer Internet Centre, working with Childnet International and the SWGfL to promote the safe and responsible use of technology for children and young people.
The successful candidates should be looking at gaining an enormous sense of making a difference in the world. They could be any age, and from any background. What will unite them all is their passion to do good, and their resilience to material showing the sexual abuse of children.
