Supporting Young People Online
Childnet have announced that the resource, Supporting Young People Online, has been translated into 11 languages.
Funded by the London Grid for Learning, and supported by ECPAT and the South West Grid for Learning, the resource is available to download in Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, Polish, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese and Welsh.
As Chris Wood, Learning Platforms & Portal Manager at the London Grid for Learning Trust said:
“The LGfL eSafety group recognised the value of these parental leaflets from Childnet and felt they deserved the widest audience. LGfL were happy to sponsor the translation work that has provided the versions in a range of languages so schools can make them available and accessible to all their parents.”
Aimed at parents and careers Supporting Young People Online contains tips for parents and teens, conversation starters and a checklist.
