2 weeks to go until BeatBullying’s The Big March
On 11th June BeatBullying are staging The Big March, a global virtual demonstration against bullying.
Taking place across hundreds of European websites, The Big March will be a 48 hour online take-over in which special BeatBullying Avatars will march over the Beat Bullying Partner websites including Telefonica, Disney, Talk Talk and MumsNet.
To join the fight against bullying, individuals and groups can create their own BeatBullying avatar on The Big March webpage. Once registered users have access to the Big March Park; a virtual park that contains interactive materials about activism, campaigning, fundraising, raising awareness and getting support. There are also virtual tents for parents and for teachers.
At 8am on 11th June every single avatar – including those of celebrities and other well-known public figures – will be brought together as part of one big virtual demonstration.
