Ask.fm are proud to launch their new Safety Centre

24 Feb 2014 UK SIC

Released today, the new Ask.fm Safety Centre contains lots of advice and guidance for parents and users of the site.

Ask.fm is a social network where people can post questions and comments to other people’s profiles, with the option to be anonymous or not. Users can ask each other questions, whether they know each other or not, start new friendships and conversations – the whole idea is to have fun and create a unique online community. Some people are concerned about the ability to post anonymously online and worry that this can contribute to unpleasant behaviour on social media sites. If you have any concerns please do take a look at the new Safety Centre along with our online safety guidance and top tips for staying safe which have been produced resulting from discussions with online safety experts within the UK Safer Internet Centre and at Ask.fm.
