The UKCCIS Evidence Group
The series aims to keep UKCCIS, and the wider public, up to date with current research.
Call for research
The UKCCIS are looking for reports or academic articles which detail the results of empirical research in the following areas:
- Children’s online activities
- Risk of harm to children online
- Vulnerable children
- Initiatives to safeguard children online
The research can be based on qualitative or quantitative methodologies, as well as systematic reviews / rapid evidence assessments. It must be publicly available and meet the criteria outlined in the UKCCIS Guide on Good Quality Research.
The research should ideally have a UK focus, though evidence which benchmarks aspects of child internet safety against other countries also has relevance.
