With just one week to go until Safer Internet Day 2026, we are truly inspired by the huge range of activities and celebrations planned for the 10th February 2026. From schools to businesses, football clubs to banks, people across the UK are helping to create a better internet this Safer Internet Day.
Each year in the UK, Safer internet day focusses on a theme or issue affecting children and young people. For 2026, the free resources, top tips, quizzes, and information created for the day will focus on the theme: Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI

If you haven’t already, now is the time to join thousands of organisations from across the UK by signing up as a Safer Internet Day supporter. All you need to do is provide your organisations or school’s name, a sentence about your plans for the day, and your logo.
You will appear on our supporters map and receive an official certificate, helping us to showcase the amazing things happening across the country.
Why not prepare for the day by downloading the official, free Safer Internet Day Education Resources. These resources are tailor-made for educators to use with young people of all ages and all focus on this year’s Safer Internet Day theme: Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI
