Launching brand new resources on AI for Safer Internet Day 2026
To help you deliver sessions for Safer Internet Day, we have created a range of free, engaging and interactive resources on this year’s official theme: Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI
Whether you are a school, nursery, youth group, library, police service, or wider, these educational resources have been specifically designed to support educators in delivering messages about AI that are suitable for all ages.
These free resources are designed for use with 3-7, 7-11, 11-14 and 14-18 year olds, with each resource pack containing presentation slides, activities and also an assembly for the whole school.
Thanks to support from the Welsh Government these resources are available in Welsh, and thanks to support from the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland these resources will also be available in Irish Language very soon.
Alongside these resources, there are also top tips for parents, cares and young people. These tips cover the key things each age needs to know about using AI safely and responsibly.
You can also test our AI knowledge with this year’s Safer Internet Day quizzes! These quizzes are designed for 7-11 and 11-14 year olds, and can be a great way to see how much the young people you work with have learned about Artificial Intelligence and how they would handle different online situations and scenarios.
