It’s official: Safer Internet Day 2023 has over 1,000 supporters
A huge thank you to the schools, charities, businesses and wider organisations who have pledged their support to Safer Internet Day on 7th February 2023.
We can’t wait to see all your creative and unique plans in the lead up to and on the day itself.
The Safer Internet Day team appreciate the effort people have taken on behalf of their schools and organisations to dedicate time to engage with all things online safety.
We especially love it when you send in pictures and tag us on social media – not only can we share it but it may inspire others to engage with the day too!
This year, our theme is dedicated to putting children and young people’s voices at the heart of the day and encouraging them to shape the future of online safety support that they receive.
Last year, a staggering 3,424 registered their support for Safer Internet Day. We are determined to beat that number this year and have a bigger celebration of online safety than ever before.
If you haven’t signed up already, you can do that right now! It couldn’t be easier – all you have to do is submit your details and what you’ll do for Safer Internet Day, and press submit!
What you’ll do is completely up to you – whether that’s planning sessions for young people, sharing our resources on social media, or watching our official films in your school’s assembly.

How else can I get involved in Safer Internet Day?
There are a few other things you can be doing if you want the next chapter of Safer Internet Day to be bigger and better than ever.
Get involved on social media
This pack is designed to help your organisation celebrate the day on social media. The social media pack includes information about the theme, as well as ways you can join the conversation on 7th February.
Contribute to the Youth Charter
This Safer Internet Day we are creating a national youth charter setting out children and young people’s agenda and the changes they want to see in how they’re supported online. Schools and youth groups can use the form on this page to submit your own Youth Charter and have your voices heard!
Take a look at our films
We have created a range of Safer Internet Day films to help you deliver sessions for Safer Internet Day, whether you are a school, nursery, youth group, library, police service, or wider.
Engage with advice for parents and carers
