We are delighted to introduce you to the judges of the 2024 Childnet Film Competition. On our new judges page you can find out what each of our judges are looking for in a winning film, as well as their top tips for filmmakers.

About the Childnet Film Competition

Since 2010, thousands of young people aged 7-18 and hundreds of schools and youth organisations across the UK have entered the Childnet Film Competition, creating films to help other young people stay safe online.

The Childnet Film Competition is a great opportunity to win filmmaking equipment for your school whilst also exploring online safety in a creative and engaging way.

We’re looking for films made by young people that inspire their friends and others to create positive changes in online spaces! If they’ve got something original to say about creating a better and safer internet, then we’d love to know about it.

The theme for the 2024 competition is: How would you make the internet a better place?

Schools and youth groups can enter either the Primary (7-11 years) or Secondary (11-18 years) categories of the competition. The last date for all film entries, 5pm on the 22 April 2024
