Would you like to help shape the future of Safer Internet Day – and earn £500 for your school?
Each year, Safer Internet Day reaches millions of young people, parents and carers, and educators across the UK, providing the vital information and support they need to keep young people safe online.
Safer Internet Day 2022 will be celebrated on February 8th with the theme ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.
Childnet are looking for schools across the UK to help monitor and evaluate the day. Schools will be required to conduct surveys and focus groups, involving pupils, teachers and parents and carers, before and after Safer Internet Day 2022.
This opportunity is open to all two-form entry primary, secondary and SEND schools in the UK, whether you have been involved in Safer Internet Day previously or not. Schools will be required to utilise the Safer Internet Day educational resources and engage with the day.

About Safer Internet Day 2022
From gaming and chat, to streaming and video, young people are shaping the interactive entertainment spaces they are a part of. Safer Internet Day 2022 celebrates young people’s role in creating a safer internet, whether that is whilst gaming and creating content or interacting with their friends and peers.
Safer Internet Day is organised by the UK Safer Internet Centre, a partnership of three leading online safety organisations – Childnet International, Internet Watch Foundation and South West Grid for Learning UK – with a shared mission to make the UK the safest place in the world to go online.
