ProjectEVOLVE Wins Education Category at the Digital Leaders Impact Awards
ProjectEVOLVE, the digital literacy toolkit from our partners at SWGfL, was announced as the winner of the Education category at the Digital Leaders Impact Awards last week.
The awards celebrate the technological innovations seen across the UK from organisations who specialise in different areas including Education, Mental Health, Employment, Finance, as well as other areas where tech can assist.
ProjectEVOLVE – Education
Since its development and release, ProjectEVOLVE has gathered an immense amount of support from the education sector. Professionals who work with children and young people can now approach the subject of online development with guidance, activities and analytics to support understanding of topics.
Ken Corish (Project Lead) said:
ProjectEVOLVE has been a significant part of our work here at SWGfL and we are delighted to have the recognition this award affords us. From the whole team, we thank all of the 30,000 users who have registered; used a classroom activity; created a knowledge map or just taken a look at a resource. Your support has meant the world to us and we hope ProjectEVOLVE will continue to support you throughout your teaching journey. We also would like to extend our enormous thanks towards Nominet for their faith in the project and their ongoing support of the toolkit and the work of the UK Safer Internet Centre. Thank you so much!
ProjectEVOLVE is free to access and offers hundreds of resources, activities and plans. You can also use the knowledge maps to get further data and analytics around students’ understanding of various topics!
