With less than 2 weeks to go until Safer Internet Day 2026, we have already reached more supporters than in 2025. Now we need your help to reach a record-breaking number of young people in 2026.
Safer Internet Day is a great opportunity to join a national conversation about the online issues that matter to young people, with this year’s theme being: “Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI”.
Here are a few ways you can support Safer Internet Day and make a real difference, including:
Become part of the thousands of organisations that are participating in the UK’s biggest online safety awareness event. To register your support for Safer Internet Day all you have to do is complete the short registration form here, sharing your plans for the day, and showcase your school or organisation on our supporters map.
The official Safer Internet Day education resources have been created to suite a variety of settings, including schools, youth groups, and libraries. Available in English, Welsh and Irish Language, there are resources for use with 3-7, 7-11, 11-14 and 14-18 year olds.
Focusing on the theme of AI in age appropriate ways, these resources cover the issues young people may face when using or encountering AI. The resource pack contain a wide range of adaptable activities, which can be suitable whether you have 10 minutes or a whole day to dedicate to Safer Internet Day.
