Safer Internet Day surpasses 1,000 supporters – Only three weeks to go
With just under three weeks to go until Safer Internet Day 2026 on Tuesday 10th February, we are delighted to share a major milestone. Safer Internet Day has now surpassed 1,000 registered supporters.
From schools and youth groups to charities, businesses and community organisations, more than a thousand groups have already committed to taking part in this year’s theme:
“Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.”
Every organisation that registers helps amplify this year’s theme whilst sparking conversations about staying safe online.
Still time to get involved
Whether you are a school, charity, business or community group, there is still plenty of time to take part. If you haven’t yet registered your support, now is the perfect moment. Registration is free and simple, and ensures your organisation is officially part of the national Safer Internet Day celebration. By signing up, you will:
– Appear on the supporters map
– Be able to share your plans with thousands of other organisations
– Help amplify key messages about staying safe online
With over 1,000 supporters already on board, every new registration strengthens the Safer Internet Day campaign.
