No Tech 4 Breck Day

09 Mar 2016 UK SIC

Help raise money for The Breck Foundation by getting off all technology for a day.

Taking place on the 17th March 2016, No Tech 4 Breck Day is a chance to raise awareness for playing safe whilst using the internet whilst also raising money to support the foundation’s work.

Breck Bednar was a 14 year old boy, from Caterham, Surrey who loved technology and online gaming.  He was groomed via the internet and sadly murdered on February 17th 2014 be someone he met online.  The Breck Foundation has been set up in his memory to help other young people to enjoy playing and socialising online but to be aware of some simple rules to stay safe.

No Tech 4 Breck Day is a chance for schools and youth organisations across the country to help raise vital funds for the organisation.  All you need to do is download a sponsorship form and pledge that you are going to stay off all technology on the 17th March 2016.  All the money raised will go to The Breck Foundation.
