Safer Internet Day 2013 has made the shortlist for the prestigious Nominet Internet Awards 2013 in the category making the internet a safer place.

Competing in the most popular Nominet Internet Awards ever, the UK Safer Internet Centre is delighted that Safer Internet Day 2013 has been shortlisted for the Nominet Internet Awards, celebrating the wide reach that SID 2013 achieved and the fantastic range of partner support.

The Nominet Internet Awards celebrate the achievements and innovation of UK internet initiatives, aiming to showcase projects which help to make the internet a more secure, open, accessible and diverse experience for all.

Since 2011 the UKSIC has focused on celebrating and harnessing partnerships, putting partners at the heart of SID. SID is a celebration of all those in the UK working to make the internet a great and safe place, and this entry was made in recognition of the fantastic working partnerships that have been formed bringing together a range of varied partners united in a common vision, under one banner, to ensure a safer internet.

The full shortlist is available at the Nominet Internet Awards website, and you can show support for SID’s entry by voting on the NIA website.
