SID kit for schools from Insafe

Insafe, who are the coordinators of the network of 30 European Safer Internet Centres, have published a Safer Internet Day Involvement kit for schools.

Safer Internet Day will be celebrated on the 5th February, for the tenth time, and will be under the slogan Connect with Respect.

This 2013 kit from Insafe contains logos, videos and leaflets, lesson plans and resources, competition details and certificates, as well as a range of resources from a number of Safer Internet Centres in a variety of languages. Schools across Europe and beyond can download and use to celebrate Safer Internet Day.

The UK Safer Internet Centre have also created primary and secondary school packs for Safer Internet Day 2013, which include 5 quick classroom activities, one fully supported lesson plan with curriculum links, staff guidance and a poster to start discussion and promote Safer Internet Day. The packs are also available in Welsh.
