Film – Are you #freetobe yourself online?

07 Nov 2019 Becca Cawthorne

In our film for 11-18 year olds, which replicates a social media story, we hear young people share really interesting insights around two key questions around online identity: ‘Are people free to be who they are online?’ And ‘Is everyone fairly represented online?’

This film can be a great way of furthering the discussions raided the education packs, why not watch the film with your class and ask the following questions:

  • Is everyone free to be themselves online?
  • What did you think of the views expressed in this films?
  • What does it mean to be fairly represented online?
  • What do you wish we were free to be online?
